Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Organizing Committee of the 1st World Junior International Law

Moot Court Competition (hereinafter "the Organizer") collects

and uses personal information as follows to process registration

and ensure the smooth operation of the competition.

* Purpose of Collection and Use: 

Verification of participant identity and eligibility (Based on official government ID, such as a Resident Registration Card or passport), Provision of competition-related notifications, updates, and communications, Confirmation of registration details, Verification of payment, issuance of receipts, and processing of refunds, Competition management and administration.

* Items Collected: 

Participant's name (Full legal name in Korean and English, as per official identification), Date of birth, nationality, School affiliation and grade, Email address, mobile phone number, Legal guardian information (Only for applicants under 14: Name, Relationship, Contact Number).

* Retention and Usage Period: 

1) General Information: Destroyed within 3 months after the conclusion of the competition and the completion of all refund procedures.

2) Payment Records: Retained for 5 years in accordance with the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.

3) Other: Retained for the mandatory period stipulated by other relevant laws and regulations, then safely destroyed.

* Method of Destruction: 

Personal information stored in electronic files is destroyed using technical methods that render the records irrecoverable, while physical documents containing personal information are shredded.

* Right to Refuse Consent: 

You have the right to refuse the collection and use of your personal information. Please be advised that failure to provide consent will result in the inability to register or participate in the competition.
